Joana Fire

Joana began her career at the age of six as a gymnast participating in state competitions and presentations representing one of the best gymnastic clubs in Brazil.
Joana was soon introduced to the amazing Circus Arts and shortly thereafter moved to Rio de Janeiro to attend the National Circus School in Brazil.
As a complement to her artistic life she studied Contemporary dance, Ballet, Contact Dance and Yoga.
Worked in two professional dance companies in southern Brazil participating as a dancer in several shows, presentations, TV commercials,
and very famous children program (Planeta Xuxa) and opening of the Pan American Games as a guest artist in 2006!

That same year Joana completed her studies as a physical education teacher (BA).
And also in this year she had a chance to attempt a course in Social Circus Art’s by “Cirque du Soleil” in Rio de Janeiro.
In Brazil Joana was invited to be captain of a group of Brazilian dancers, worked as a choreographer and directing this group
into one of the biggest casinos in Macau.
